Is running still done?
I've been wanting to start a new character for a while. I decided to go with War. But can't commit on where to start. Pre sounds like fun but getting the attributes points and all that, not sure if I'm willing to play all of prophecies just to have a fully powered character.
So I've been hanging out in the cities for a while but don't notice anyone LF or running. Hence the title. Thanks. |

LF what; running what? There are plenty of runners around. Every time I visit Ascalon City, I see spam for running to LA. There are also players running to Sanctum Cay in LA (other places also).
But why start a character if you don't want to play it? |

There are still a lot of runners in some locations like Ascalon City, LA, and etc.

Yeah, plenty of runners are still around.... But you could always "run" yourself. You don't have to do the solo running thing, but if you don't want to do the missions, it's not really hard to fight through the explorables with a few henchmen. Especially if you go ahead and grab LDoA first. Ascalon -> LA -> Sanctum Cay. Do the Desert, ascend, attribute quest #1, Dragon's Lair, attribute quest #2.
I've taken a number of foreigners through that route (50k exp for Ascension is a draw). I've also started a lot of characters in Prophecies (I like their looks). Getting the full attribute points isn't bad. And even if you put it off for a while, the difference isn't really that noticeable. |
